Pretty good riding today. No rain, of course. Started with a tough hill, but it wasn't the worst we've seen. But we did fight some wind today. Other than that, good day! And Switzerland has officially turned French. When we first crossed over in Lugano, it was Italian. When we took the train to Zurich, it turned German. And once we crossed that big hill today, everything was French.
We got to our host in Broc, but unexpected circumstances came up and he had to cancel. He offered to put us up at a campsite, but we found a cheap hotel in Bulle we went to instead. Pretty happening area! Glad we were able to stop!
I love how clearly bike routes labeled in Europe. This was true when we did our EuroVelo 6 trip as well, but since we started following Bike Route 9, you barely need a GPS. The signs are everywhere and easy to follow.
Two days to go!
Those bike routes seem so much better than what you encountered in Italy!
