Pretty good day of riding. Flat, nothing much to see, lots of farmland. We made great time on the bikes, but, wow, were my allergies going crazy. Constantly sneezing and spitting out mucus. And the bugs were pretty bad. The front of our shirts were covered with little gnats, and we had to pull our neck gaiters up to keep them out of our faces. And the last couple miles were rough. Don't think we ate or drank enough today, and we were beat when we finally got there.
We're in another city, and this one is the quietest yet! Again, not nearly as much to offer as Florence or Rome, but we were surprised how little people were out on a Saturday.

ReplyDeleteOMGsh those empty streets look so eerie! And Yes, the water out of the fountains nose is kinda funny but ewwwy at the same time ;)
