Nothing crazy to report today. Had a nice downhill leaving Gambassi Terme, had a short, half mile hill at one point, reaching 18.5% grade briefly, which is just about the steepest we've ever seen. But good day of riding! We made it to Florence and saw the Ponte Vecchio bridge, which was really unique! Never saw building structures on a bridge before! We also briefly saw the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which was cool. Then we made our way to the hotel. Looking forward to a rest day tomorrow!
We were there with Grandmom and Grandad. You have to put your hand in the mouth of the bronze pig😉
