Left the campsite early after neither of us slept well, and our first stop was at McDonald's for breakfast. It was going to be another long day, and I've always felt we ride well on days we have fast food for breakfast. And so we did! It was a good day of riding - rode through farm land, a few nice beach towns, and no big hills.
We were supposed to camp again tonight, but it's getting super hot, so we got a hotel - Mami Sabaudia Hotel. Crazy how a room with Wi-Fi, a bed, and AC costs a little less than twice what camping did last night. High of 87 today, and high of 97 tomorrow. We're drinking at least 3-4 bottles a day, and without needing to stop to pee.
When we got to the hotel, we showered before going out to look for dinner, and we were sweating sitting at the outside table - the restaurant had no AC, the bike shop we stopped at had none, and even the McDonald's we stopped at earlier today was only slightly cooler than outside. But I don't notice it on the bike as much. The breeze while cycling helps. But when we stop, we can feel the sweat dripping.
