Nice start to the trip! Not too far, not too hilly. We started with a ferry ride across the Susquehanna, then hit the road. We got hit with some rain as well, but nothing heavy. Felt good in the heat.
We have our first Warm Showers host tonight! Beth made us a filling dinner of chicken and pasta, and she brought out some sour cherries she picked from her neighbors. I enjoyed those, haha. Her neighbor Van joined us as well. We spent the rest of the evening eating and talking on her back patio. Good first day!
